Moving

I have now moved into the space I will have to exhibit for the final show. It looks like this:

 Still needs a bit of tidying but it is well on the way to being ready to be transformed into an installation.

It may look a little like this, but we´ll see...

Prep & good news

Preparing as much as possible before moving to space for exhibiting.
Some things can easily be prepared in advance whilst others will just have to be left. However it appears to be the case that we´ll have well over a week in the space until the deadline. This means I will have more than enough time to finish everything. Work is concentrated on drawn plans and sourcing available materials.

I have the majority of pieces and materials sorted, but there are other things I´d like to further investigate in terms of the best material for the job. This is something better done in the space, as when on a larger scale the impact can change quite a bit.

I also have been informed that I have been short-listed for this prize  (http://www.northumbria.ac.uk/sd/academic/sass/about/arts/woonartprize/) which I applied for in January. Its  quite exciting, as being short-listed means that I´ll take part in an exhibition in Newcastle in July.
